“ I took my friend for lunch on Sunday 15th February as he was fully booked on Valentine's day. Bespoke menu, immaculate wine suggestion. The food was well presented and oh so tasty! We had such an amazing "kuier" in this vintage/eclectic space made so welcoming by Stef and A chef that takes part in bringing out the well prepared eye fiesting food, deserves a compliment. We had from entré to melting in the mouth desert. Even our waiter, Blessing was such a friendly smiling knowledgable chap. The ambience leans to romantic vs homely with gorgeous art and vintage furniture. The Tiffany lamps were my favourite!! Not for children. This is your date night out to dress up and go out! Come hungry as portions are great and the food prepared with love and passion. Worth your time and effort when visiting Harties. Over 23 years of practice makes this place perfect! ”

“ We have been going to Stef’s table for years, especially for any celebration or anniversary, simply the best restaurant in Harties. Went again on Friday night and what a feast! My starter (goat’s cheese salad) looked like artwork and tasted delicious. My husband loves their duck and it was again divine. We love this place, can highly recommend it! ”

I am still dreaming about the calamari starter. The food was presented precisely with attention to the smallest detail. We will visit again. “ What more can I say that hasn't been said already? This establishment has a perfect rating for good reason. Chef Stefano and his Maitre D Athlone were exceptional hosts, greeting us immediately as we entered, setting a whimsical tone with a light-hearted joke. He made clear from this gesture, the atmosphere is about fun and great food, not pretension. My guest and I were seated at a quaint intimate table, overlooking the establishment's garden. The menu was well laid out, offering good variety without being overwhelming. I decided on the Grilled Lion's Mane as an appetizer and the lamb roast. The food was exceptional. The Lion's mane was served as three medallions, seasoned and grilled, served with a harissa paste. It was hearty, reminiscent of well-cooked steak. With this dish Chef Stefano immediately showcased his versatility. Vegans and Vegetarians would not be disappointed. However, holding no such diertary restrictions, i eagerly awaited the main course. We were greeted with other accoutrements, while we waited, including superb garlic toast canapés, and roasted veggies featuring exquisite croquettes and pumpkin tartlet, delicious and perplexing in equal measures. The main arrived, presented in classical french plating. Chef Stefano relies in very classical hauté presentation. The chops were served with a demiglace over mash, a classic dish done immaculately. Overall, I must concur with many of the previous reviews acknowledging Stef's Table as the best restaurant in Hartebeespoort. If you are coming here for vacation, you will have ceated yourself of a phenomenal experience if you skip it. ”

“ We travelled from Johannesburg for a day out and had the most beautiful lunch experience at Stef’s Table. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Chef Stef himself as we drove in, and immediately felt welcomed and taken care of....truly like family. The service was exceptional, and we ordered a variety of starters, mains, and desserts so we could taste a bit of everything. All I can say is WOW. Every dish was absolutely perfect.... a burst of flavour, with such clear love and care in each plate. Well done to Chef Stef and the entire team for a 10/10 experience, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We will most definitely be back. ”
